 I did it, I finally picked a name for my business!  I hope you all keep tuned into what's for to come...I'm very excited about this new adventure!  I thank God for the creative ideas He has given me & for giving me my husband who is being very supportive in this!  I also need to thank my parents for being supportive, especially my mom, she is giving me all sorts of good ideas!  And I cannot forget to thank my friends that kept pushing me to get this going! Bows Bows Bows!!!

name...what's in a name????

I'm still trying to get used to blogging so to my "blog stalkers" (LOL!) be patient with me please. There has been a lot going on in my with me lately. I am trying to start a business selling my bows & other fun things that I create or make but the problem is I can't come up with a name! I've had a few options...Pitter Patter, Wild at Heart, Simply Bowtastic (my wonderful hubby's idea) & swankE. They are all cute names (well I don't really like Jimmie's idea..sorry honey!) but they are not exactly what I am looking for. I want a sassy but classy name...funky & posh name...spunky & fun name...I think ya'll get the point. Also, I don't want the name to focus completely on hairbows, even though they are the spark! By the way, Maegan, thanks for the name idea too! I hate to keep asking for help but I'm getting a little frustrated.


If you are wondering why I have decided to make hairbows & girly stuff (there will be boy stuff & home holiday decorating stuff too...maybe more), well I just love to make things! I've been told that I am good at it (soon I will post some pics here to show what I have done) and it gives me something to do besides eat! And most importantly God gave me a talent and I need to use what he has given me. I truly believe that He has a plan for all of us, granted I still don't know what mine is but I will use what he has given me because I'm sure it is a part of it.

Hello 2010!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had an awesome 2009 & will have an even better 2010.  Of course, here in NWA (North West Arkansas for those of you that don't live here) it has been a super cold New Year full of snow.  The schools have yet to open again because of the snow, which is causing some stress for parents & kids.  This morning, William asked me why I would let him go back to school today...I told him that it was because of the snow & he proceeded to tell me that this was the longest vacation ever & that his friends haven't seen him in a long long time & that the snow needs to melt so he could go back.  I couldn't agree with him more!

Ok....I have a mission for all of you!  Some of you may know that I make hair bows.  Yes it is kinda crazy that I make bows since I have 2 boys but I do have several nieces & friends with girls so it's all good!  Anyway, I have decided to go a little further that just my nieces & friends but start selling them to everyone.  There is 1 problem...I don't have a good buisness name.  I want a cute & trendy name, I would like it to be catchy & easy to remember but not silly or too long.  Please, please, please share your ideas with me...I'll take name ideas & bow ideas.  I was going to post my bows on this blog but I have decided that once I have a buisness name I will create a blog dedicated just towards it.

My first post...

Hello all!
I'm really excited about this.....of course it is 11:20 pm & I am still on the computer & Jimmie is playing on his new PS3 & I'm sure there is plenty of other things I should be doing but this is much more fun!  Anyone willing to follow my family & our crazy lives, get ready for a wild ride, hopefully our faith in God will grow along with the bonds between our friends & family!  

I need to thank my Aunt Karen for giving me this idea, I think I might become addicted to this & I can't wait to get our family blog together! I will let everyone know when we get it up & going...we plan on posting family recipes & other fun family things!  If anyone has any ideas for my blog please let me know...
